If you have a customer requesting a quote and they reference making payment through ClassWallet, we must add the ClassWallet Fee of 2.5% to the quote. Please contact Duwana Rillo who will handle these request.

You are more likely to hear ClassWallet from private schools, or Academy’s. States will vary, but include Florida, Texas, Indiana, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Please follow the below procedure on the quote:

1. Please quote current list price. Even if the customer has a price agreement, we should charge list price. The quote will be processed on the customer’s account.
2. Add a line item at the end of the quote for the 2.5% fee. Enter item number CLWLF, and it will show a description of “ClassWallet Fee”.
3. Quotations will calculate the fee. 
4. Please ask the customer to reference the quote number on their purchase order or payment.

ClassWallet will issue payment through wire transfer, once their customer confirms the items were received. Accounts Receivable will alert Customer Service of the payment with the quote number.   

If the customer by-passes the quote process and calls to place an order referencing ClassWallet, we still need to include a line on the order for the ClassWallet fee. Please calculate 2.5% of the order total minus sales tax and freight.

If we don’t include the ClassWallet fee on the quote and/or order, ClassWallet still deducts their fee, and Carolina absorbs the fee. We don’t want to absorb the fee. This fee should be included on all quotes and orders that are placed direct with our company.

We have a punchout with ClassWallet, but some private schools using EANS funding cannot use the punchout. That’s when they come to us direct.
