This ensures the item will be picked, packed, and shipped on the day you specify.
Never enter a date in the Promised Delivery field. The system calculates this for you.
This method is used mainly on ground shipments.
For material shipping ground, always inform phones customers that the date in the Promised Delivery Date field is an estimate. Ground shipping delivery dates are not guaranteed by FedEx!
For PO’s submitted by mail, fax or email, key all non-perishable stock items to ship three business days out unless otherwise instructed.
