FedEx Ground Call Tag SOP (for Sups, GLs, & QA)

  • Go to FedEx.com
  • At the top of the page click on Shipping and then select Create a Shipment

  • Click Ship with a FedEx account to log in

  • User ID: CBSReturns
  • At the top, click Outbound Shipment for a drop-down menu.  Then select Return Shipment
  • Deliver to field: Information is “pre-populated” (green check).
  • Return from: Please fill in all the required fields highlighted in yellow.
  • If the pickup is for a residential address, please check the box.

  • Under Package details, click on packaging for the drop-down menu. Then select Your packaging.
    • The system will allow you to process one package at a time. Use the weight from the original box.

Add Package (Will not let you process more than one box/return).

  • Under Return Service, click Service for the drop-down menu and select FedEx Ground

Last, under Return options, click return label type for the drop-down menu. Then select FedEx Ground Call Tag

  • Fill in the pickup date, times, instructions, Item description and RMA #. Once that section has a green check mark, you can click   FINALIZE
  • The next screen will provide you with the return tracking number for the call tag. Please save that on a header attachment in Text Box 2, of the RL or CN. If you have multiple boxes that need to be picked up. Please process each call tag separately. FEDEX.com will only allow one package to be pickup up at a time.
