Hazardous Chemicals

  • Certain chemical items are subject to restrictions:
    • When keying a controlled chemical substance, the following Pop-Up box appears:

  • If a customer asks for an exception to ship to a business or residence:
    • Contact Mike Richardson (ext 6343) or Phebe Bowman (ext 6325)
  • After clicking, the item number field will appear in Fuchsia.
    • You will need to check the item comments for additional information

  • When you click ‘Place Order’ on the last screen:
    • The order will automatically go on 08 HOLD.
      • Tom Gerdes (ext. 6251) will release 08 Holds.
      • Mike Richardson and Phebe Bowman will help when needed
      • All orders are released within 24 hours.
  • All other Hazardous chemicals will turn "Light Blue"on order screen.

  • This provides a chance to review the order.
  • These items can ship to schools and businesses.
  • No Personal Credit Cards on these chemicals.
  • Check the item comments for additional information.
  • If in question, place the order on ‘KB’ hold and Tom Gerdes will research.
    • He will take it off hold, if approved.
  • Kit components are not included in this process.
    • Always check item comments when prompted.
