National Geographic Butterfly Kit SOP

We have partnered with National Geographic to provide living butterfly larvae for their National Geographic butterfly kits which are sold in retail stores. Customers may call in and refer needing butterflies for their National Geographic kit. Inform customer to place order online.  Start at www.thinkbluemarble.com/butterfly

The total price for the butterflies is $10.95 + sales tax.

Note: Painted lady butterflies cannot be released in CT, ND, or WA. Caterpillars are only available in the contiguous United States. Cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico. Butterfly larvae are shipped via US Postal Service. Expedited shipping for this item is not available.

  • Complete Shipping Address field with: (email address, company or school name, street address and primary telephone number).
  • Click Continue
  • Click Continue

Complete the checkout process:

  1. Enter your credit card information for payment (make sure the billing address match credit card)
  2. Provide order total, including taxes
  3. Review Shipping and Billing address
  4. Click on submit my order

If Neither You or Customer can Complete Order Online

  1. Process customer’s order as a sales order in JDE.
  2. Create a new credit card account for the customer.
  3. Enter item number as BML912 with a price of $10.95.
  4. MOD Trn is FST.
  5. Remove Freight Flag
  6. Do NOT calculate freight
