Quote to Order Conversion (Checking for Duplicates)

  • When converting a quote to order
    • You will receive one duplicate order notice on the Blanket Order Revisions screen
    • This is because at the outset of converting the quote, the information in the PO field comes over exactly as Quotations entered it. JDE interprets this as a duplicate.
    • Ignore this initial duplicate warning.

When to Check for a Duplicate

  • After entering the PO number in the Customer PO field there are two possibilities
    • Nothing happens
      • No need to check for a duplicate
    • The Customer PO field border turns yellow and a 2nd duplicate warning ribbon appears (see example below)
      • You need to check for a duplicate order
