What is CSO and how do I use it?

CSO, or Carolina Science Online, is the portal where your Gateway resources are hosted.  Depending on how you are accessing your Gateway resources, you may need to access CSO for assignment creation.  If you have set up your Gateway resources using an LTI link in your LMS, you will not need to access CSO and will only be able to access the resources through your LMS.  If you have set up your Gateway resources via the Single Sign-On option, then you will use CSO to create your assignments and assign them to students.  You can also use CSO to view student progress, time spent in the resource and grading if you choose to do so.
