Wisconsin Fast Plants Tropism: Plant Growth in Response to a Stimulus Kit

Students investigate phototropism and gravitropism (geotropism) in Wisconsin Fast Plants®. They determine whether the roots and stems exhibit phototropism and/or gravitropism, which allow terrestrial plants to shift toward more favorable living conditions. Students also determine whether the roots and stems respond more strongly to light or gravity. Materials are sufficient for 30 students working in groups of 3.
